As mentioned in Bug 1938226, despite Bug 1647582 being closed, there are issues with ./mach vendor rust on Windows. This meta bug is filed to track those issues. This bug can also replace Bug 1647582 as the bug link in the Firefox Source Docs mentioned in this comment
